I seem to remember, looking back to when I lived in England lo these many years ago, that British teenagers were always pretty inarticulate, especially compared to their Irish counterparts. Alas for the good old days, when elocution lessons were part of the core curriculum in most schools. Today, even The Queen has become relatively common.
