Tessa, why do you watch that shit? They’ve got sillier since they are no longer the official mouthpiece of the Bush Administration. I have lived here most of my life, and I only know a tiny fraction of people who would think like that. I haven’t met any politically insane Canadians, but surely there are a few.
Anne, I wouldn’t watch Fox News if it was the only news channel in the universe. No. 1 Son Tweeted this and I picked it up, because it made me so heart-sick, on a day when four more beautiful Canadian boys were killed in Kandahar.
Btw, all the crazy canucks can be found in Calgary, which welcomed Dubya earlier this week to a sold-out $4,000 a table wankfest.

Alas, not satire. Just Fox News at their shittiest. Not sure about invading Canada. The Americans and the Fenians have both tried it, and got their asses kicked. Despite its boring image, Canada has an extraordinary military past and a reputation for winning battles that everybody else has given up on. Vimy Ridge is a case in point.
Tessa, if you know me at all, you know there isn’t a political bone in my body but the fact that this conversation took place on a news channel is disturbing to me. I know it happens all the time and all over but shouldn’t a news channel be reporting news and not opinions? And snarky opinions at that. You’ll have to forgive them. They’ve lost their leader and they just don’t know what to do with themselves anymore.
What’s really disturbing is that far too many Americans get all their news from this fuckwit channel. Which may have lost its leader, but still has Rush (Lardbutt) Limbaugh, Karl (Krapper) Rove, and Dick (Dick) Cheney to call on to spread the lies.
On second thought, you don’t HAVE to forgive them. I shouldn’t have said that.

Hello right back to HS, from both of us. Boat will be going in the water mid to late April, at which time TFH and a few of his buddies will sail it back to Hamilton under what I expect will still be pretty damn’ cold conditions (which is why I will not be joining them.) We have Slan Abhaile stored at a marina in Port Weller, some 70kms from here, and TFH is going there most of these precious sunny days, to get some pre-launch chores done. He’s as happy as a pig in slop doing this, of course. Spring fever is in the air here.

Normally, I would not. But when it was brought to my attention, I just had to share my

I watch Fox News on occasion, but only because I have to keep abreast of the crappola that’s being shot into my parents’ elderly ears. I can’t watch it long though because I get too angry. Other than Shep, they are a bunch of nut jobs.

I did watch the documentary “Rubert Murdoch’s War on the Media.” It’s very well done.
I guess I owe it to all the young men and women who have died in Afghanistan to watch these fuckwits, no matter how hard it is. I must look for that documentary; sounds interesting. I think the stamp on Fox (not)News is Roger Ailes’, not Murdoch’s. If you remember, Ailes (along with Lee Atwater, who at least repented his misdeeds before he died of brain cancer. Ain’t karma a bitch?) was the mastermind behind Bush Senior’s victory over Michael Dukakis and is generally credited with creating the kind of trash campaigning that Turdblossom Rove went on to perfect.
Oh, my sister says i should watch it occasionally, so I know what the enemy is thinking… but I can’t.

The Missus watches Fox “News” every now and then (she gets a visceral shot of outrage from it), and my boss — like Pseudo’s sister, apparently — watches it for the same reason. But jeez, there’s only so many hours in a day…
